An advisory firm built around independence and senior execution.
K&B Corporate Consultants Ltd is a UK-registered advisory firm working with corporates, sponsors, allocators and growth businesses on the financial decisions that are difficult to reverse.
What we are
We are a specialist finance advisory firm, not a generalist consultancy and not a product distributor. Our work sits in four connected disciplines — operational finance, project finance, structured finance and portfolio advisory — and the common thread is analytical rigour applied to a decision that carries real consequence.
How we are different
We are paid only by our clients. No commissions, no placement fees, no retrocessions, no referral economics. When we recommend a structure or challenge a manager, there is nothing behind the recommendation except the analysis.
Senior people do the work. Engagements are executed by experienced practitioners, not staffed out to a leverage model. You deal with the person who built the model.
We build for handover. Models, policies and processes are documented so your team can own and maintain them. A successful engagement reduces your dependence on us.
We will tell you when the answer is no. Declining a project, walking away from a term sheet, or leaving a portfolio alone are all legitimate outcomes. We would rather lose the follow-on work than deliver an answer we do not believe.
How we work with other advisers
We work alongside your existing lawyers, accountants, tax advisers, brokers and FCA-authorised managers rather than replacing them. Where a matter requires a regulated activity, a legal opinion or an audit sign-off, we say so clearly and coordinate with the party who can provide it.
Where we are
K&B is based in Watford, in the Greater London area, and works with clients across the United Kingdom and internationally. Engagements are delivered remotely or on site as the work requires.
Four things we hold to.
Evidence over assertion
Every recommendation traces back to a number, a contract clause or a documented assumption.
Downside first
We test what breaks the case before we present the case. Base cases are the easy part.
Clear scope, clear fee
Deliverable and price agreed in writing before work starts. No open-ended billing.
Confidentiality by default
Client identities and materials are not disclosed or used as marketing without written consent.
